When we are talking about eye treatment,i think we should first talk about the types of eye treatment or correction,and they are;
• Laser
• Ultra Elite
• Ultra Plus
• IntraLase
• Ultra Lasik
• Ultra Lasek
• Non Laser
• IOL
• Reading Glasses,etc
But i think we should first start with LASIK (eye laser treatment in other words) let's find out more about it,......

Laser Eye Treatment:
This is the type of treatment that demands the use of LASIK surgery.
What is LASIK?
LASIK or Lasik in other words; (laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis).
It is a type of refractive surgery for correcting myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism.
LASIK surgery involves lasering under the surface of the cornea.
A very thin superficial layer of the cornea is cut and lifted. After the exposed tissue is lasered, the corneal flap is repositioned and remains in place by natural suction. The flap remains joined to the cornea like a hinge, enabling it to be replaced in exactly the same position, minimizing the healing process.
LASIK is performed by ophthalmologists using a laser. The procedure is generally preferred to photorefractive keratectomy, PRK, (also called ASA, Advanced Surface Ablation) because it requires less time for the patient's recovery, and the patient feels less pain overall. The benefits of LASIK laser eye surgery include a pain free recovery, quick restoration of eyesight and better results for severe short sight. The inner eye is not pierced during the procedure and stitches are not required.
Many patients choose LASIK as an alternative to wearing corrective eyeglasses or contact lenses
